Brookes Russia are delighted to introduce you to one of our recently appointed professionals, Mr. David Haire (MYP Product Design Teacher) David moved from Salzburg, Austria where he was living for some years, working as one of the lead design engineers for the KTM Factory Racing MotoGP team within the suspension and chassis department. Winning consecutive world championships in 2019 and 2020 with his designed products, as well as other accolades as test rider for the MotoGP team, David brings a wealth of experience as a qualified mechatronic engineer from the Queen’s University Belfast, and First-Class honour teaching merits from Stranmillis teaching College Northern Ireland.

A former successful career within motorcycle racing, following serious injuries, David began his educational journey to give back to children and the next generation through teaching. Following his initial Bachelor studies, he spent time living, teaching and completing his Master studies in Finland and the Finnish education system at Abo Akademi within child psychology, as well as representing Åbo Akademi at the Nordic Peace and Conflict Conference Finland on the subject, “The Young Individual, The Future of At-Risk Youth”. David completed further studies at PhD level at Sigmund Freud University, Vienna within Psychotherapy Sciences, with the intent of better understanding the process of learning and development in children surrounding mental health in the changing technological 21st century.”
